Greenhouse is looking for a Tax Manager to join our growing team! Reporting to the Tax Director, you will be a key contributor in building out Greenhouse’s tax compliance and operations function.

What you’ll do

  • Prepare, review and support global indirect, business, and property tax computations, filings and processes.
  • Assist with tax audits (income, indirect, business and property tax) and manage tax notices.
  • Prepare monthly global tax accounting entries and reconciliations.
  • Manage special projects as assigned, including but not limited to, IRC 382 analysis, R&D tax credit study, and ASC 718 stock-based compensation analysis.
  • Support routine tax processes, such as, maintenance of global tax calendar, global income tax compliance and tax provision.
  • Develop and assist in the implementation and documentation of tax processes.
  • Manage key tax operation internal controls in accordance with Sarbanes-Oxley Act.
  • Research tax issues and prepare tax memorandums, as needed.
  • Build collaborative working relationships across the organization.
  • Other ad hoc projects as assigned.

You should have

  • 4+ years of corporate tax experience; Big 4 experience preferred.
  • Experience in both public accounting and industry is highly desirable.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or related field; Master’s Degree in Taxation or CPA is a plus!
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively to effectively prioritize multiple projects to meet deadlines and produce high-quality work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Results driven with a high level of initiative, teamwork, urgency, accountability and integrity.
  • Excellent organizational, research, analytical, and communication skills, both oral and written
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (i.e. word, excel) and Netsuite. Experience with Avalara is a plus!

The range provided is for Colorado-based hires only and will be commensurate with candidate experience. Pay ranges for candidates in other locations other than CO may differ based on the cost of labor in that location. Pay range: $98,000-$132,000
